Broominator is designed for riding mowers and zero-turns with a compatible rear hitch or mounting point. Fitment varies by mower. If you are unsure, send us your mower make and model before ordering and we will help you check the mounting area.
Broominator JR is designed specifically for push mowers and uses an adjustable pressure-fit mounting system with no drilling or permanent mower modification.
For most riding-mower setups, a 36-inch broom is recommended. For 48-inch decks, the sizing guide recommends two 24-inch brooms; for 60-inch decks, two 30-inch brooms. For JR: 21-inch mower → 18-inch broom; 22- or 24-inch mower → 24-inch broom; 30-inch mower → 24- or 30-inch broom.
For best operation with the current riding-mower Broominator, raise the broom before extended reversing. This helps prevent the broom from digging into the turf while backing up.
The Broominator is designed for a straightforward installation using common tools. Installation time and exact setup can vary by mower configuration.
The Standard Broominator and Broominator JR are Bring Your Own Broom systems, so the broom is not included. The Founders Edition includes a premium 36-inch polypropylene broom.
